My name is Anand. I am a student of Law Optional Foundation batch of Shalka Kumar Ma’am. At the time of joining I was very confused about my study strategy, answer writing and notes making method. My concepts related to international law's topics and contemporary legal developments were also not clear. But under excellent guidance and mentorship of Shalka Ma'am, all these issues have addressed well and I evolved better. She covered every topic of syllabus according to the examination's need and previous years pattern. She has exceptional command over subjects with good communication skills. She used to take single question test everyday after class and give instant review. This helped me a lot. The ongoing Law Optional Test Series and Answer Writing Classes are like icing on the cake. Shalka Ma'am has been continuously giving me feedback on every line of my answers which is a question and topic centric and useful especially in case of law optional.

I was pursuing law from CLC when I decided to switch my optional subject from maths to law. I got an opportunity to get in touch with shalka kumar maam in order to get an insight on how to approach the subject. Initially i had some apprehensions because it was her first batch. But in her first class only she helped us in deciphering the topics, previous year patterns brilliantly.
Following are the key takeaways-
1. Most important is answer writing approach. Apart from the traditional intro body conclusion, she guided us to develop a jurisprudential angle which makes the answer different from others.
2.The daily class assignments which one needs to write in class, the topic wise tests helps in multiple revisions of topics.
3. She herself has cleared mains multiple times and has a good insight about the blunders aspirants do in their preparation.
4. Outside classroom also the faculty is very helpful and is never hesitant to explain or guide in any manner.
5. Being in the preparation till 2017 she is well acquainted with the exam patterns, expected questions and has the study material updated which is much needed now. I recommend both the classes as well test series to everyone who is looking for a mentor to prepare with law as an optional.

I'm Pushpendra. Being a law graduate, I chose Law as an optional subject when I started my preparation for UPSC CSE. For an year I prepared Law optional on my own .But even after one year of preparation I couldn't prepare well structured notes of all the topics , I was not able to answer questions in proper format even for the topics which I studied thoroughly. Then, I joined Law foundation course of Shalka ma'am. That proved to be the best decision. Ma'am taught me which topics should be prepared comprehensively and which topics should be read selectively based on her experience in this subject. She taught me how to address the needs of a question and write answer holistically as we had to write answers after each topic in class. In addition to it I have well structured notes of all the topics and subtopics of the syllabus. She has been a constant mentor and I’m thankful to Shalka Ma'am for the same.

I have been a student of Law optional Batch in 2019. After attending the classes, the syllabus has become precise & shorter for me than i had perceived before. Cz Initially I was totally confused as to where to start and how to study for particular papers. I did feel the pace could have been faster in terms of the number of topics covered per class but then i attended it online so it wasn't a minus point for me. Feedback on the answers is productive and detailed. Shalka mam is very supportive and encouraging and very easy to approach.
